Kayla Nicole is bringing the “blonde” into the new year. Taking to Instagram this week, the model — who previously dated Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — unveiled lighter locks in a series of photos from her New Year’s celebrations.

“Brought in the new year blonde – filled with laughter, caviar bumps and champagne. 2024, you cute already,” Kayla captioned the snapshots as she and pals enjoyed a night out. The post has garnered more than 46,000 “likes” as of Wednesday morning, with “Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino responding in the comments, “Blondes have more fun.”

Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk also lauded Kayla’s look, posting, “She never misses.” Although several fans dropped fire emojis in the comments section of Kayla’s post, the 32-year-old influencer has combated trolls in the past, revealing in November how she tunes out the noise.

“The ‘noise’ never comes from anyone who has more. More love. More joy. More peace,” Kayla said in an Instagram Q&A at the time. “Misery loves company. ‘Hate’ is a projection of an individuals self worth. I do not have to receive or entertain it. “Also asking myself ‘will this matter to me in _ months from now?’ The answer is always NO.”

There has been much chatter about Kelce, 34, and his personal life amid his burgeoning romance with pop superstar Taylor Swift, which began in the summer of 2023. Kayla, who was involved with Kelce from 2017 to May 2022, unfollowed Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, in the wake of Kelce’s new relationship.

“The reality is I know these people in real life. And so, in real life, I’ve communicated to these people why I’ve had to publicly make the decisions that I made,” Kayla told People in October. Kayla, who attended Brittany’s March 2022 wedding to Mahomes, expressed to the outlet, “She knows that I love her.”

“That’s a lot of history and friendship there, that doesn’t change overnight,” Kayla said. “But publicly, because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That’s really all that is. The love is still there.”
