What next for Jason Kelce? As Eagles center RETIRES from the NFL, will he focus on New Heights with Travis, become a TV analyst like Tom Brady… or stay in Philadelphia as a coach?
The NFL star broke down in tears as he took the podium to announce his retirement.
He struggled to make it through his speech, taking several breaks to catch his breath. Jason tearfully recalled his days as a middle schooler playing football and said he’s had a “visceral” connection to the game ever since.
Jason told his teammates that he’ll “always cherish” their brotherhood. He reminisced on the night he met his wife and gushed over her support over the years. Jason also took special care to thank his children, Travis, and his parents.
“Forever we shall all share the bond of being Philadelphians,” he said to his city.
The Eagles center has earned seven Pro Bowl selections and six All-Pro teams during his tenure in the NFL.
He won the Super Bowl with Philadelphia in 2018.
