On Friday, the World Junior Speed Skating Championships began. Already on the first day of the competition, the medal was won by Hanna Mazur, who took third place at a distance of 500 meters. Soon after, she got the second album that day.

The three-day Junior World Championships are held in Collalbo, Italy. On the first day, among others, the women’s competition was played at a distance of 500 meters.

One of the candidates for the medal was 16-year-old Hanna Mazur. Polka in her pair faced Japanese Shizuko Okuaki. The Asian woman with a score of 39.00s was the first to cross the finish line. Mazur gained from the turn time 39.44 s, which at that moment gave it second place in the entire rate.

By the end of the competition, only the Korean Huidan Jung, who finished the race with a time of 39.30 s. Thus, Masuria could enjoy winning a bronze medal.

This is another success for the young player. In the recently completed series of the Junior World Cup, she triumphed in the general classifications at a distance of 1500 meters and in a mass clash. Last year, it also won the bronze medal of the Olympic Games.

On Friday, other Polish representatives also took part in the distance of 500 meters. Near the podium was Wiktoria Dąbrowska, who with a time of 39.84 s took high fifth place. 11. was Julia Grzywińska, 17. Zofia Braun, and 33. Emilia Zawisza.

A few hours later, the struggles were held at a distance of 1500 meters. For the second time that day, Masuria stood on the lowest step of the podium. The Polish woman scored 2:03.73. Austrian Jeannine Rosner won (2:01.60) and second place was taken by Japanese Ayano Sekiguchci. On the good side, Zofia Braun, who finished the seventh place with a time of 2:04.61, was also shown.
