The world’s top-ranked singles players, Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek, have been named top seeds for the men’s and women’s singles events at the Paris Olympics.

The seedings for the singles events have followed by the world rankings, with Sinner followed by Novak Djokovic as second seed and Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz as the No 3 seed.

On the women’s side, Swiatek is followed by world No 2 Coco Gauff and world No 4 Elena Rybakina (world No 3 Aryna Sabalenka is not competing in Paris this time).

For the doubles events, the ITF has used the combination of the best singles or doubles rankings for the players to come up with the seedings. Based on that criteria, Italians Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti are the top seeds in the men’s doubles event while Americans Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula are the women’s top seeds.
